Cooper is a 10-year-old chocolate lab with a mellow temperament and a bountiful supply of love. He walks wonderfully on a leash, enjoys leisurely strolls, and does well with young children. He has a little separation anxiety and would probably do best with an another doggie companion in his life.

Cooper had a stable home until his owner fell on hard times and could no longer care for him. Thanks to our amazing Foster Friends, Cooper is safe in Nederland while looking for his furever home.

Cooper recently had a couple of lumps removed – the one on his neck was just a cyst and and the one near his eye is benign. His old hips are a little achy but his Foster Friend has been giving him glucosamine. He’s been enjoying lounging around with canine companions, as well as going for walks in the neighborhood.
